The UKLA have the right to cancel any memberships without refund for any reason.
The UKLA are not responsible or liable for any work carried out by any UKLA members or any actions taken by their members for customers and or clients.
The UKLA will not be responsible or get involved in any disputes with their members and their customers contracts whether written or verbal.
The membership fee is non-refundable.
There will be no refund to the member if the DPF form is unacceptable upon applying for UKLA membership. Any decisions are completely at the discretion of the UKLA.
If a monthly payment fails to reach the UKLA the UKLA have the right to cancel membership without any refund without notice or however they see fit.
UKLA membership is renewable every 12 months.
All members must carry their I.D cards when undertaking any Locksmithing jobs.
All members must be fair and honest with all their customers / clients.
All members must look after the interests of the UKLA and their fellow members.
UKLA membership is only completed once all the required documentation is received by the UKLA.
Members are not permitted to take parts of this website without permission.
UKLA Course
You are not guaranteed a place on the course until the course deposit of £100.00 is recieved by the UKLA.
Any persons with convictions of pending convictions for theft or burglary will have their applications refused.
Course deposits are non refundable. If a student fails to turn up on either day of the course the UKLA reserve the right to refuse any refund and refuse presentation of the certificate.
Course deposits will not be returned if the application is unacceptable.
The UKLA are not liable for any injury that may be caused on the course or liable for any unlawful behaviour from their students.
All course notes, Certificate and Drill point manual are for the intended student only. Action may be taken against anyone if the above documents are sold or lent to any other persons / parties.
Any replacememt documents are chargeable.
The UKLA are not responsible for any losses or damage to the students belongings.
If full payment has been received and the student wishes to cancel they will lose their deposit. The balance will only be paid back if notice of 21 days or more from the start date of the course has been given to the UKLA. If less than 21 days notice has been given then no refunds will be made. This covers all admin work, cancellation costs and loss of work for the UKLA. Course payments cannot be transferable from one student to another.
If a student fails to attend all or part of the UKLA course without giving at least 5 days notice to UKLA, the UKLA reserve the right to take the balance of any monies due from the student's credit / debit card account.
